She still felt awkward, but it wasn't Ulla's fault. She was mostly just...embarrassed for panicking as she did, and Ulla being so understanding...she wasn't sure how she felt about it. Still embarrassed, most likely.
But she came to Ulla's door- still lovely enough that Sokie had to pause to enjoy the design- knocked, before letting herself in.
"Ulla, hey." She closed the door gently behind her before moving towards the balcony. "Thanks for inviting me back over."
She grins down at Sokie over the railing. "I'll come down and we can both
put our toes in the sand, unless you feel like joining me up here. When I
asked my girlfriend if she wanted the cabin changed at all, the balcony was
her suggestion. She didn't want me changing my living space too much
for her. Well, for her and the harp. I worried about keeping it
dry."
"The balcony is a good idea, especially for keeping the harp dry." Sokie peered up at her, smiling. She was itching to take off her shoes, but she wanted to wait in case Ulla wanted to join her.
"I'd rather keep to the toes in the sand idea. Since...well. I've missed beaches. And forests. Anything really that isn't ship-related. Not to say we can't go up later, but I'd like to start with the sand, if you don't mind."
Re: Voice
[She feels a little awkward but that's because she's embarrassed. Bolting isn't very bad ass of her.]
I might just enjoy sticking my toes in the sand, if that's okay with you. You don't have to change the water for me.
Though I may take you up on the Enclosure water experience another time. I do like cold water, quite a bit.
Re: Voice
"Of course. I'll leave the door open, come by when you're ready."
And until Sokie gets there, Ulla is going to be up on the balcony idly composing a song on her harp as Hjerte hums along.
