to me, because my power works through understanding. I'm not a weaver. I
don't understand fabric well enough to conjure it into being. But I can
turn a scrap of silk, of any color, and a bouquet of irises into a purple
and gold gown. Whereas for jewels, I don't need raw materials. I
understand stones.
